I had two 50-year-old Hungarian goosedown quilts my grandmother had had made for my brother and me as children.  Both quilts had rotting covers, in disrepair and both were quite dirty.  Sarah and Deirdre at Winzer were patient and thoughtful about how to clean and re-cover (and add some down to one that had lost feathers) them.  Because these were heirlooms of a sort, I very much appreciated the personal attention I was given, and they came back in lovely, usable condition.  Winzer's free pick-up and delivery service made this easy, given that I am in Brooklyn.  I would call Winzer for all items requiring special care.
